BOOK COVER DESIGN

The brief was to develop a visual system that could be adapted across a series of books from the same genre. This system included typographic treatment, type of imagery and in this case, a distinct colour palette.

Typographic choice of simple and bold condensed sans serif to convey a sombre tone and sense of urgency in the genre.

Art direction of visual style of cover series. The tangled and unraveling thread was used as a visual metaphor for the complex challenges occurring in a world unraveling from the flaws in its political and ecological systems.
